To remove the silicone piece from the mould, we used a lot of talcum powder and a brush. We used the brush to raise the edges of the baldiez with talc.
The adhesive used to stick the piece to the body is called pros-aide. We put the adhesive on to the designated area of the model's skin and the silicone piece. To stick the piece on, the glue has to dry clear and then it will stick securely, ensuring the edges are not folded.
To blend the edges into the skin to make it seamless, we used alcohol on cotton buds, cotton pads and a small brush. It takes a while to get it completely smooth.
This is the piece stuck down and edges removed with alcohol.
To remove the piece, we used the Sherman Lab, Proclean cleansing oil.
